Clazziquai Project in Color Your Soul Photoshoot. L to R: Alex, DJ Clazzi and Horan.

Clazziquai Project (Classic + Jazz + Groove), or simply known as Clazziquai, initially started out as an experimental project by leader and mastermind, DJ Clazzi a.k.a Kim Sung-hoon. Their music, similar to the Shibuya-Kei movement, is a fusion of different genres but mostly Fusion, Electronica and Acid Jazz. The group remained predominantly underground until their participation in the OST for the award-winning My Lovely Sam Soon. In late 2005, after collaborating with Japanese artist Fantastic Plastic Machine and group m-flo, the group signed a contract under avex trax, while still being signed under FLUXUS MUSIC in Korea.
