MAKAI is a Japanese producer/DJ under Universal Music Japan. He started his activities as DJ in 1990, although it wasn't until 2005 when he released his debut album. Since then he has collaborated with may Japanese artists like LISA, globe, Tohoshinki's YUCHUN, DOUBLE, Ryohei, Aoyama Thelma or Tamaki Nami among others. In 2007 he started the charity project MiM, for which he contributed with Hinouchi Emi and Takashi Ikezawa.
