"Raison d'être" is the twelfth single released by Nightmare. It was released in three versions. Type A came with DVD that included the PV for "Raison d'être", Type B came with a PV for "Criminal baby" and the Regular Edition only came with all three songs. "Raison d'être" served as the first opening for the anime Claymore.
