Komu-ro Garçons (ASAYAN Idol Group Audition 96) (コムロギャルソン(ASAYANアイドルグループオーディション96)) was an audition airing on the TV show ASAYAN from October 1995 to September 1996. The audition was named as a parody on a segment called 'Com de Garçon' hosted by Ninety Nine (one of the MCs of the show) on ASAYAN's predecessor show "Asakusabashi Bridge Yang Jiao Shop". The winner would be produced by Komuro Tetsuya, but no winner was chosen and the project ended.
Several participants in this audition was approached afterwards and offered to make their debut as singers.

Information
Amanita and Ahane made their debut as solo singers produced by Cozy Kubou, Komuro's side-kick during the auditions. taeco, asami and kaba debuted as the pop group dos produced by Komuro. Fifteen girls debuted as the idol unit L☆IS, also produced by Komuro. Kobayashi, Oizumi, Fukui, Ishii, Sasaki, Katagiri, Taguchi and Okushi was put in a project called AIS and later on made their debut as solo singers or part of a unit.
