"Kuroge Wagyuu Joshio Tanyaki 680 Yen" is Otsuka Ai's seventh single. It's a version of the "Kuroge Wagyuu Joshio Tanyaki 735 Yen" track on the LOVE JAM album. The single is arranged differently in terms of music and vocals. For comparison, it has been described that the album version is more "loving" or "tender" while the single is more "aggressive". "Kuroge Wagyuu Joshio Tanyaki 680 Yen" was used as the first ending theme for the anime "Black Jack" on Nihon TV. The first press of the single came with a related "Black Jack" sticker (LOVE & PINOKO). The single reached #3 on Oricon charts and charted for 18 weeks. This single sold 149,134 copies and is the #68 single of 2005.
The song is certified Double Platinum with 500,000 units downloaded, and Golden for the shipment of 100,000 copies.
