"Happy Days" is fourth single recorded by Otsuka Ai. It was released in two regular versions: a CD+DVD and CD edition. The first press of the single (limited to 50.000 copies) came with a picturebook. The song was used as the theme to the Morinaga ICE BOX commerical that also starred Otsuka, and as the theme to Koukousei Quiz 2004 on Nihon TV. The single reached #3 on the weekly Oricon chart, and it continued to rank for a total of 25 weeks. The most recent figures show that it sold a total of 163,433 units. It was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of Japan for the shipment of 100,000 copies.
