Kurosaki Maon debuted on September 22, 2010 with her debut album, H.O.T.D., under the Geneon Entertainment label. H.O.T.D. album featured all the ending themes for the anime HIGH SCHOOL OF THE DEAD. Her first two singles, "Magic∞world" and "Memories Last", were used as ending themes for the anime Toaru Majutsu no Index II.

Kurosaki was invited to the Anime Expo convention in Los Angeles, USA, as a guest of honor where she did her first overseas live concert on July 3, 2011 at Club Nokia. On August 8, 2011 she released their first mini-album titled Goshiki Uta -Immortal Lovers-, each song was used as an ending theme song for the anime OVA Hakuouki Sekkaroku.

In the summer of 2011 she joined the group ALTIMA, along with SAT (fripSide member) and MOTSU (m.o.v.e member) and signed with Warner Home Video Entertainment. The group, who debuted on December 8, 2011, released two singles "I'll believe" and "One". Both singles were used as ending themes for the anime Shakugan no Shana III -Final-.

On November 30, 2011 Kurosaki released her second album and first original album titled Butterfly Effect. Unlike her debut album, H.O.T.D., and her mini-album, Goshiki Uta -Immortal Lovers-, which were both made up entirely of songs for anime, Butterfly Effect was her first album to feature original material.

On May 9, 2012 she released her third single, "HELL:ium". It was her first single not used as theme song for an anime, instead, each song was used as theme song for one of the Real Onigokko horror movies series (Real Onigokko 3, 4 & 5).
