"CLAP & LOVE / Why" is the seventh single released by ayaka. "CLAP & LOVE" was used as the theme song for the drama Jigoku no Sata mo Yome Shidai while "Why" was used as the theme song to the Square Enix game CRISIS CORE -FINAL FANTASY VII-. It was released in three versions: a first press version featuring a rare CRISIS CORE sticker, a regular version, and later on on September 12th, 2007 a limited edition CD+DVD single. The first press version features the same cover as the regular version. The limited CD+DVD edition features the name Why / CLAP & LOVE instead of the regular title.
