"Friends Again" is the debut single recorded by the Shibuya-Kei duo FLIPPER'S GUITAR, and their debut as a duo. This is the band's first release since the departure of the original Lollipop Sonic members Arakawa Yasunobu, Yoshida Shusaku, and Inoue Yukiko. It introduced the DOUBLE K.O. CORPORATION, which was a named used to credit the writings of Oyamada Keigo and Ozawa Kenji. "Friends Again" was used in the Shibuya film Octopus Army: Shibuya de Altai!
The single was never placed on a studio album until the 2006 reissue of the band's 1989 debut album three cheers for our side ~Umi e Iku Tsumori Jyanakatta. The B-side "Happy Like a Honeybee" is written by Oyamada Keigo, and is a cut from the debut record.
