"Joshi Tachi ni Asu wa Nai" is the seventh single (fourth major label single) released by chatmonchy. The title track was used as the ending theme song to Music Soldier throughout April. The track "Bus Romance" was inspired by the wedding of one of Hashimoto Eriko's childhood friends, and was used as the CM song for Lotte's Ghanaian Chocolate Milk. The first press edition of the single comes with a fluorescent printed cover and a sticker.
The single reached #17 on the weekly Oricon chart, and stayed on the chart for a total of five weeks.

Music Video
The music video for "Joshi Tachi ni Asu wa Nai" starts out with a large group standing on bleachers of young girls singing. As Hashimoto Eriko's starts to sing all the other stay quite as the video points out the other band members in the crowd. The video then shows chatmonchy playing in front of the audience of girls. It then shows the band members boxing a man. Even though they keep getting knocked down, they still continue to get back up and try again.
