Information

"Shangri-La" is the sixth single (third major single) released by chatmonchy. The title track was used as the ending theme song for the Hataraki Man anime, as well as ending theme for the early morning television show Saku Saku. This single is also the bands first song to be performed on television. The band was even featured as the Young Guns act on Music Station.

The single is chatmonchy's first single to reach into the top ten position on the Oricon. The single spent 3 weeks in the top twenty, peaking #6. The single went on to spent a total of 9 weeks within the top 200.

Music Video

The music video for "Shangri-La" starts out with three girls dressed in yellow raincoats, big glasses, and teal shorts jumping on in the different colored rings on the floor. As the guitar kicks in the girls start dancing. It then goes into a room where the band is playing, and soon the band is on the floor playing their instruments. The rest of the video switchs from different scenes of the band playing and the girls dancing.
