"Somaru Yo" is the 12th single (ninth major label single) released by chatmonchy. The title track was used as the theme song for the dorama Tonsure. This single was the band's first major label release not to be produced by former SUPERCAR guitarist Ishiwatari Junchi, and instead was produced by Japanese rock musician Kameda Seiji.
The single reached #10 on the weekly Oricon chart, and stayed on the chart for a total of four weeks.
