- Information
say is the sophomore studio album released by misono. It's title is a pun on the word "sei" (生), which means "life", and the English word "say" (they're homonyms). Unlike her debut album never+land this has a heavier rock sound. To achieve this misono released a four single long Rock Singles Project, which showcased her working with famous Japanese rock artists such as: GO!GO!7188, Hinata Hidekazu (STRAIGHTENER), onso9line, and TAKUYA (ex-JUDY AND MARY). This album also has a more hands on production than her first record: misono wrote all the lyrics (except "Gizagiza LIFE"), composed music for two songs, and even fully produced a track.
This was released in two different versions: a CD only edition and a CD+DVD edition that comes with four alternate versions of the music videos for her consecutive Rock Singles Project.
Oricon Chart Positions
The album reached #20 on the Oricon weekly charts, where it charted for five weeks and sold 13,135 copies. This is misono's best selling studio album.
