"to the beginning" is the tenth single released by Kalafina. It was released in four versions: a limited CD+DVD edition (Type-A), a limited CD+Blu-ray edition (Type-B), a regular CD only edition, and a limited pressing CD anime edition. The title track was used as the opening theme song for the anime series Fate/Zero 2nd Season. The single reached #11 on the Oricon weekly charts, charted for 17 weeks, selling 52,413 copies.
