- Originally a 7th generation Kenkyuusei, she was promoted to Team B on May 21, 2010, and transferred to Team A during the AKB48 team shuffle in August 2012. During the AKB48 Group Grand Shuffle in February 2014, she was transferred fully to SKE48's Team E.
- She was a finalist for Morning Musume's Happy 8ki Audition in 2006.
- Her nickname "Suumelo" comes from her liking the Sanrio character My Melody, who is often nicknamed "Mymelo".
