"Niji no Dreamer" is Asaka Yui's eighth single. It was first released on a record and then re-released on an 8cm CD. The title track was used as the fourth theme song for the Fuji TV dorama Sukeban Deka III Shoujo Ninpou Jyou Denki. The single reached #1 on the weekly Oricon charts and charted for seven weeks, selling 109,000 copies. The single also reached #93 on the yearly Oricon chart for 1987.
