"Sakuranbo" is the second single recorded by Otsuka Ai, and it is noted as being her breakout hit single. It was released in both a CD+DVD and CD formats. The first press edition of the CD edition comes with a picture book, and was limited to 10,000 copies. The song was used as the opening theme to the TBS program UNDERCOUNTDOWN TV and the ending theme for Fuji TV's Mecha2 Iketeruu!.
