the light of other days is the fourth mini-album recorded by DAOKO. She completely self-produced the album, and it was released under her own independent label called teftef. The jacket artwork was done by DAOKO herself, a first for her, and features a friend of hers (also an artist) named Yumeno. The album was released completely by surprise with basically no promotion, since it was announced only a few hours before it was available. On the same day it was made available, the music video for "fighting pose" was also uploaded to YouTube.
