Friends is the fourth mini-album released by B'z. It reached #1 on the weekly Oricon chart. The mini-album also reached #6 on the yearly Oricon charts for 1993. The lead song, Itsuka no Merry Christmas, proved to be a popular holiday ringtone and was eventually certified Double Platinum in 2011 by the RIAJ for ringtone downloads of over 500,000. Additionally, the song was certified Gold for full song cellphone downloads of over 100,000.
Friends sold 706,950 copies in first week, charted for 30 weeks and sold 1,355,530 copies in total.
