Information

Sing to the Sky is the second studio album released by ayaka. It was released in three versions: two different limited editions CD+DVD versions and a regular CD Only version. The first DVD version featured all of her music videos from the album (as well as all the videos from First Message), whereas the second featured footage from her first one man live at Budoukan on December 20, 2007. The track "Kon'ya mo Hoshi ni Dakarete..." was used as end credit song for animated movie The Sky Crawlers. Meanwhile, the track "I believe <English ver.>" can only be found on limited CD+DVD edition as a second bonus track and she never released the song again since then. The track is an english version of her debut single that she specially recorded for her best friend, Japanese figure skate athlete, Ando Miki. The album was reissued to coincide with her third studio album release The beginning in 2012 and then was reissued again in 2015 to coincide with her fourth studio album release Rainbow Road.

Sing to the Sky debuted at #2 on Oricon weekly charts and charted for 60 weeks. The album was the #15 best-selling album of 2008 for selling around 577,405 copies and was the fourth best original studio album by a female singer.

Sing to the Sky has been certified Triple Platinum by RIAJ for shipment of 750,000 copies.
