Information

"Kingyo Hanabi" is Otsuka Ai's fifth single. This single was available as a CD or CD+DVD edition. The first pressings of the CD only edition included a picture book illustrated by Ai (limited for 50.000 copies). The CD+DVD edition (with a different cover) came with a DVD containing the Kingyo Hanabi PV. The title track also appears on Otsuka's LOVE JAM album and on the LOVE JAM DVD, in the form of a short film that stars Otsuka. It was also used as the ending theme for "Super TV Jyouhou Saizensen" on Nihon TV. The single reached #3 on Oricon charts and charted for 17 weeks. The most recent figures show that it sold a total of 148,121 units.

It was certified Golden for the shipment of 100,000 copies.
