"BRAND NEW STORY" is Tokyo Performance Doll's first single after their revival (tenth overall). It was released in five versions: three limited CD+DVD editions, a limited first press CD Only edition that came with a serial number to download songs online, and a regular CD Only edition. The title track was used as the opening theme for the anime Kindaichi Shounen no Jikenbo R.
