Girl band Princess Princess recently announced that they will reunite, and yesterday it was revealed that they will make their comeback performance on March 20 for a charity event at Makuhari Messe. They will share the stage with Kome Kome CLUB and TM NETWORK, bringing together three of the biggest bands of the ’80s and ’90s music scene.
The event is titled “ALL THAT LOVE -give & give-.” For Princess Princess, this will be the first time that all 5 members perform on the same stage since the final show of their breakup tour at Nippon Budokan on May 31, 1996.
Kome Kome CLUB, who also once broke up and reunited, last performed on stage together about two years ago. Similarly, TM NETWORK’s last performance together was in 2008.
Princess Princess previously announced that they are reuniting for this year only to perform charity concerts to contribute to the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami relief efforts. They currently have 6 concerts scheduled for this fall, in Sendai on November 3 and 4 and at Nippon Budokan in Tokyo on November 20, 21, 23, and 24.
