Nakayama Natsume (中山夏月姫) is a Japanese pop singer and idol managed by Up-Front Promotion and part of Hello! Project. She is a member of OCHA NORMA.

Profile

History

Nakayama Natsume became a member of the group Sweet Girl in May 2016, and graduated several months later on December 18th. She participated in the "Morning Musume '16 Shinseiki Audition Saiboshuu", but failed. It was announced through an official website update on March 6, 2017 that Nakayama had joined Hello Pro Kenshuusei, alongside Shimakura Rika, Hibi Marina, Eguchi Saya, Doi Rena, Okamura Minami, Matsunaga Riai, and Yamada Ichigo. She made her first live appearance and was formally introduced at the "Hello Pro Kenshuusei Happyoukai 2017 3gatsu ~Marching!~" event on March 11th.

Nakayama received a special judges award, given by former °C-ute member and soloist Suzuki Airi, for her performance of °C-ute's "Namida no Iro" at the "Hello! Project Kenshuusei Happyoukai 2020 ~Natsu no Koukai Jitsuryoku Shindan Test~" event on July 26, 2020. The following year on May 29, 2021 at the "Hello! Project Kenshuusei Happyoukai 2021 ~Haru no Koukai Jitsuryoku Shindan Test~." she received the Semi-Best Performance award, with 945 audience votes, for her performance of "Kioku no Meiro" by High-King.

On July 5, 2021, during a broadcast of the show Harodori, Nakayama was revealed to be one of four additional Hello Pro Kenshuusei joining the new upcoming Hello! Project group, alongside Hiromoto Ruli, Nishizaki Miku, and Kitahara Momo. The final 10 member lineup and name of the new group, OCHA NORMA, was revealed on December 12, 2021. Activities would begin with the Hello! Project 2022 Winter ~LOVE & PEACE~ concert tour starting January 2, 2022.
