It was originally planned for release on September 6th, 2006, however the album was postponed so that the "Mikazuki" single would be able to be released. Originally this song was not planned for the album. This album also reached #1 on the World Charts. First Message has the highest selling first week on a debut album by a solo female artist since Nakashima Mika's album TRUE in 2002.
