Psychedelic Insanity is the ninth studio album released by ALI PROJECT. The album's image styling is not Gothic & Lolita or other Gothic fashions, like their previous releases, but something seen in the Cyber Gothic subculture. The album reached #20 on the Oricon weekly charts, and charted for 7 weeks. It sold 9,879 copies on it's first week and 18,615 copies overall becoming their best selling studio album (as of January 2013).
