"Candy Pop" is the second Japanese single released by TWICE. It was released in four versions: two limited CD+DVD editions (A & B), a regular CD edition, and a limited ONCE JAPAN fanclub CD edition. Additionally, the first three editions can be purchased together as the WARNER MUSIC DIRECT box set. Limited editions A & B and the regular edition come with 1 of 10 trading cards. Additionally, the limited edition A comes with a 24-page lyric booklet and the ONCE JAPAN edition comes with 9 Valentine's Day-themed interchangeable jackets and event application. The song "BRAND NEW GIRL" was used as a commercial theme for Clova Friends Futago Dance-hen.
The single was certified Platinum in February 2018 by RIAJ for shipment of 250,000 copies.
