"Hanamizuki" is the fifth single released by Hitoto Yo. The title track was used as the theme song for the TV program Kin'you Suspence Gekijou, as the "JRA" commercial song, and as the theme song for the movie Hanamizuki. "Nennensaisai", was used as the ending theme to the anime "Aishiteruze Baby". The opening theme to this anime was ""sunny side up"", which originally appeared on Yo's Tsukitenshin album. The single reached #4 on the Oricon weekly charts and charted for an astounding 136 weeks. This was Yo's second smash single, reaching #30 on the 2004 end-of-year charts by selling 253,087 units, and then again reaching #80 on the 2005-end-of-year charts by selling 124,010 units. Including 2006 sales, this single has sold 414,086 units. This is Hitoto's best selling single.
