Spermargarita is the third mini-album released by Gazette. It was released just a month after Akuyuukai, was was itself released a month after COCKAYNE SOUP. "Wakaremichi" was already released as a single and it was re-recorded and included on the mini-album. The entire mini-album was later included on Gazette's first best of album Dainippon Itan Geisha-teki Noumiso Gyaku Kaiten Zekkyou Ongen Shuu. In 2005 it was reissued by KING RECORDS.
The original release of the mini-album reached #4 on the indies Oricon charts, and #78 on the major charts where it charted for two weeks. The reissue didn't chart on Oricon.
