Tsubaki Factory

Tsubaki Factory (つばきファクトリー; Camellia Factory) is a Japanese pop girl group managed by Up-Front Promotion and part of Hello! Project. The group was formed in 2015 and released their first indie single "Seishun Manmannaka!" on September 6th of that year. Originally consisting of six members, Ogata Risa, Yamagishi Riko, Niinuma Kisora, Tanimoto Ami, Kishimoto Yumeno and Asakura Kiki, it was announced at a fan club event that Hello Pro Kenshuusei members Ono Mizuho, Onoda Saori, and Akiyama Mao had joined the group as new members on August 13, 2016. On September 4th, it was announced that they would finally make their major debut in January 2017.

Tsubaki Factory's major debut single, "Hatsukoi Sunrise / Just Try! / Uruwashi no Camellia" was released on February 22, 2017. At the end of the year, the group won the Newcomer Award from the 50th Japan Cable Awards and the Newcomer Award and Best Newcomer Award from the 59th Japan Record Awards.

Their tenth major single, "Machigai Janai Naitari Shinai / Skip Skip Skip / Kimi to Boku no Kizuna feat. KIKI", is released this week on February 22nd.
