Dear Friends 1 is SPEED's third best album released under Toy's Factory. The album contains 6 of their earlier singles from "Body & Soul" to "My Graduation" among other songs. Dear Friends 1 is part one of a 2 part collection called "SPEED The Memorial Best 1335days". The second and last part of this collection is called Dear Friends 2. While Dear Friends 1 is in silver, the Dear Friends 2 is gold in color. The album reached #4 on the weekly Oricon charts and charted for 18 weeks, selling 505,610 copies. It also reached #44 on the yearly Oricon chart for 2000.
