Round 2: Deathmatch
- The second round is a deathmatch competition. Units compete against each other using one of three HYBE group debut songs. Contestants were split into group using the previous round's placement levels, and were then split into two units per group: unit A and unit B. The top two contestants were selected via judges, and those contestants became the leaders of each unit and got to choose their members. Each unit, starting with the lowest, then got to select which song they wanted to perform with each song having two spaces available–the catch being that higher groups would be able to push them aside to take song. There is only one killing part between both units, and it was decided through a mini-mission where the contestants would vote for each other on who expressed their song the best. The judges score out of 700 for each individual with the unit score being the average. The unit that wins will receive the benefit of 50 extra points.

Round 3: All-Rounders
- The second round is an all-rounder competition to test the ability to perform different genres. Three units of 7 were formed regardless of levels. Each unit performs two genres: heel choreography and hip-hop. The top contestants of each level were selected as leaders and got to choose the session flow and members' parts. Each contestant got to decide which team they wanted to be on, however with excess members, Hyewon had to select three to depart the team (Ruka, Wonhee, and Jeemin).
Heel songs were given based on a flexibility test. Each unit had to do splits across the floor, toes touching their teammate next to them. The unit who spanned the farthest would be the winner. The winning unit (Hyewon) got to select their song as well as the songs for the other units.
Hip-hop songs were given based on a "Show Me the SWF" competition–round one for dancing and round two for rapping. Aiki and guest judge Jay Park gave out necklaces to those they deemed did a good job. The winner was the unit who received the most necklaces. The winning unit (Hyewon) got to select their song as well as the songs for the other units.
The judges score out of 700 (100 each) for each individual with the unit score being the total. Scores for both genres will be added together for the final score. The unit that wins will receive the benefit of 100 extra points and the un unit that comes in second will receive the benefit of 50 extra points.
