"VORTEX" is the 12th major and 20th overall single released by the GazettE. This was released in two different versions: an Optical (CD+DVD) Impression edition containing a DVD of the title song's music video along with its making of, and an Auditory (CD only) Impression edition coming with the B-side song "BREAK ME". It is their first Sony Music Entertainment single to not have any immediate tie-ins. The titular track is said to depict the struggles of the social system and the absurd.
