"Nantettatte Idol" is Koizumi Kyoko's 16th single. The title track was use as the theme song for the Fuji Film Kardia commercials and the 2006 Subaru Stella commercials. The single reached #1 on the weekly Oricon charts and charted for fifteen weeks, selling 284,000 copies. The single also reached #21 on the yearly Oricon charts for 1986.
The single was re-issued in 1991 with "100% Danjo Kousai" as the b-side.
