"Panda Hero" is a song recorded by daoko as one of her first (if not the first) covers on Nico Nico Douga. In what would later become typical of her style, she recorded a "rap-style" version of the song. It was a song created/produced originally by Vocaloid producer Hachi, who later started releasing tracks under his real name, Yonezu Kenshi. Interestingly, DAOKO would later go on to collaborate with him on her third major-label single, Uchiage Hanabi.
The title of the original video upload was "[Genkyoku Maigo] Panda Hero wo Rap ni Shite Mitakatta [Utattemita]" (【原曲迷子】パンダヒーローをラップにしてみたかった【歌ってみた】; [Original Song Lost] I tried to rap Panda Hero [Cover Song]). The description said simply, "Warning, I'm not good at Vocaloid arrangements".
