Johnny's (ジャニーズ) was an idol group from 1962 to 1967 under Johnny's Jimusho. They are considered to be one of the first idol groups in Japan.

The group was formed in 1962 after then-couch Johnny Kitagawa scouted the future members as teammates on the baseball team Johnny's Young Boy Baseball team. They debuted later that year on the NHK television program Yume de Aimashou. For about a year, the group served as background vocals and dancers for singers like Itou Yukari. The group finally debuted as singers in later 1964 with the single Wakai Namida. The group got popular with hits like Taiyou no Aitsu that they were able to appear on the 18th Annual Kouhaku Utagassen in 1965, doing a jazz number to an popular song in the 60s, Mac the Knife.

In 1966, the group's goal had plans to land the group in America. While in America, they recieved dance lessons and had a three month recording session due to receiving a contract from Warner Bros.. The result was the release of the single Never My Love in 1967, which went to #2 on the Pan-American charts. But the group soon headed back to Japan due to there popularity in Japan was slipping when their promotional film was cancelled.

When Johnny's came back to America, they released more singles and starred in a musical about the group Four Leaves. However, on Novemember 1967, the group held their last concert at Shibuya Town Hall before breaking up. However, they reunited briefly two years later for an All Star Japan Song Festival.
