hell bound heart is the sixth major and 11th overall album released by PENICILLIN. It is their first album released through avex trax, and their first major album since UNION JAP in 2000. This was released in two different versions: a limited CD+DVD edition and a regular CD only edition. The limited edition comes with a DVD of the PV of the first A-side from their last previously released single, "JUMP#1 / Hakana", and their 13th anniversary TV special PENICILLIN TV. Future releases have more volumes of this TV special. The album reached #72 on the Oricon charts, where it charted for two weeks.
