"Taiyou" is the 29th single (first CROWN DIAMOND RECORDS single) released by PENICILLIN. This was released in three different versions: a limited CD+DVD A edition, a limited CD+DVD B edition, and a regular CD only edition. Each limited edition differs in the DVD contents; both contain the PV, and each have a different volume of their variety show "Pe Nicillin". The regular edition comes with the aforementioned PV's audio commentary in CD-EXTRA format. The single reached #45 on the Oricon chart, where it charted for two weeks.
