VIBE∞ is the first major and second overall album released by PENICILLIN. It was first released through PIONEER LDC on June 26th, 1996 in a two disc set with a special clear case and two booklets. Disc one is the original studio album while disc two is an instrumental jazz CD of previously released songs. On October 21st, 1998 it was re-released through east west japan as a one disc album. The instrumental jazz CD was released alongside this press separately as "VIBE∞ (JAZZ VERSION)". The album reached #10 on the Oricon charts, where it charted for four weeks.
