"hell bound heart" is the 11th album (second avex trax album) released by PENICILLIN. It is their first major album since "UNION JAP" in 2000. This was released in two different versions: a limited CD+DVD edition and a regular CD only edition. The limited edition comes with a DVD of: a PV of the first A-side from their last previously released single "JUMP#1 / Hakana", and their 13th anniversary TV special "PENICILLIN TV". Future releases will have more volumes of this TV special. The album reached #72 on the Oricon chart, where it charted for two weeks.
