"Supernova" is the 13th album (first CROWN DIAMOND RECORDS album) released by PENICILLIN. This was released in two different versions: a limited CD+DVD edition and a regular CD only edition. The limited edition comes with a DVD of the PV for track #13 "RED MOON", and volume five in their variety show "Pe Nicillin". The regular edition comes with the PV for track #4 "earth born" in CD-EXTRA format. The album reached #71 on the Oricon chart, where it charted for a week.
