- Information
"SING OR DIE" is the ninth original album released by DREAMS COME TRUE. The album won the Best Pops Album of the Year award at the 12th Annual Japan Golden Disc Awards. The album reached #1 on the weekly Oricon chart and charted for eighteen weeks, selling over a million copies. Since the album sold 372,220 copies in 1997, the album reached #52 on the yearly Oricon chart for 1997. It also sold 509,720 copies in 1998 and thus reached #50 on the Oricon charts for that year.
An English version of the album was realeased in 1998, entitled SING OR DIE -WORLDWIDE VERSION-. It reached #4 on the Oricon chart for seven weeks. Another version of the album, entitled 2002:monkey girl odyssey tour special edition, was released in 2002. It reached #79 on the Oricon chart for one week.
