"The Swinging Star" is the fifth original album released by DREAMS COME TRUE. The album won Best Album Award at the 35th Annual Japan Record Awards. It reached #1 on the Oricon chart and charted for fifty-five weeks, selling over three million copies. The album also reached #5 and #4 on the Oricon charts for 1992 and 1993 respectively.
