Dream Girl is SHINee's third Korean album. The album was divided into two 'chapters': the first one, Dream Girl: The Misconception of You, was released on February 19th, came with a 64-page photobook and contained 9 original songs. The second one, Dream Girl: The Misconception of Me, was released in April and contained 9 different songs, for a total of 18 tracks.
Fans were able to hear short previews of "Dynamite" and "Bangbaek (Aside)" weeks before the actual release date by watching SHINee's MBC special TV show "SHINee's Wonderful Day". Sneak peaks from both chapters were played to 100 music reviewers during a special album release premiere event titled "SHINee Music Spoiler" on February 14th, the response was said to be very warm.
