Hayashi Tetsuji
Hayashi Tetsuji (林哲司) is a Japanese composer, singer-songwriter, and arranger. Hayashi got his start after he was influenced by American pop music when he was kid. At age 20, he got into the Yamaha Music School and also work as a editor at the Yamaha Magazine. Soon after in 1973, he became a singer-songwriter but it wasn't successful. So, he started to compose and arrange for artists like Nakama Yukie, Kikuchi Momoko, Sugiyama Kiyotaka, and others during his career. In the 80s, he was credited for bringing the golden age of 80's J-Pop.
In 2005, he served as composer and judge for the television audition show Uta Star!.
