FIVE is the fifth Japanese album released by SHINee. It was released in four versions: a limited CD+Blu-ray edition "A", a limited CD+DVD edition "B", a regular edition, and a special CD+DVD limited edition only sold through the group's Japanese fanclub SHINee WORLD J.
Both limited editions were housed in a tall digipack and a slipcase and came with 48-page photobooklet (type A), a trading card (one of five) and "original visuals" (type A). The Blu-Ray of limited edition A, in addition to the music videos and making-ofs, also included a high-resolution (48kHz/24bit) recording of the album. The regular edition came with a 28-page photobooklet (type B) and "original visuals" (type B). First press of both limited editions and the regular edition also included a special lottery application form to be able to buy premium tickets for the group's upcoming Japanese tour. The fanclub edition came with "original visuals" (type C) and a 7-inch record size paper jacket, while its DVD featured footage from a fanclub event.
The songs "Gentleman", "Mr. Right Guy", "ABOAB", "Become Undone", "Get The Treasure" and "1 of 1 (Japanese Ver.)" were pre-released digitally on 20 January, 2017.
