Information

Mikami Chiaki got her start in show business when she joined the idol group Onyanko Club after winning the Yuuyake Nyan Nyan-sponsored contest "Young Paradise Image Girl Contest" on November 29, 1985 with Watanabe Minayo, Yokota Mutsumi, and Yajima Yuko. Mikami began to sing the main and backing vocals on many of Onyanko Club's songs, starting with Ushiroyubi Sasaregumi's single "Banana no Namida" in 1986.

Mikami graduated from Onyanko Club right before the Zenkoku Concert "Abuna~i Kagai Jyuugou" concert tour in the spring of 1986. She is currently a flight attendant and has retired from show business.
