"DEAD or ALIVE" is the sixth single (fourth PIONEER LDC single) released by PENICILLIN. Includes a live version of their song "Mother Goose", originally the second A-side from their second single "MELODY / Mother Goose". It was recorded on February 11th 1996 at their Indies Last Live at NHK HALL. The title song was used as CX's "Rairaiken" opening theme song. The single reached #12 on the Oricon chart, where it charted for four weeks.
