Mienai Hoshi is Nakashima Mika's 21st single. Mienai Hoshi was used as the theme song for the dorama Haken no Hinkaku. I LOVE YOU is a cover of the song by Ozaki Yutaka and was used as the Daihatsu Tanto CUSTOM CM theme. Other than her works with NANA, this is Nakashima Mika's highest first week sales in 2 years. The song itself is a moving ballad dressed with gospel and blues-like arrangements. Mienai Hoshi sold a total of 60,985 copies, making it the #128 single of 2007 on Oricon yearly chart. Mienai Hoshi was also ranked #59 most downloaded song of 2007 on Recochoku.
