STAGE -THE MUSICAL IN MY HEAD- is the eleventh studio album released by Nakashima Mika. It was released in two versions: a limited 2CD+Blu-ray edition and a regular 2CD edition. The album's concept is centered around the worldview of musicals, depicting the contrasting worlds of "stage and backstage" and "yin and yang." The Matinee disc includes songs that symbolize "daytime performances = yang," centered around previously released tie-up songs. Meanwhile, the Soiree disc is filled with new songs that explore the worldview of "nighttime performances = yin."
